BE PREPARED FOR PREDICTED SEVERE WEATHER
January 21, 2026
January 21, 2026 - The National Weather Service is predicting an "impactful winter storm" across our area this weekend. Please take this time ahead of the storm to make the necessary preparations for your household as well as checking on the elderly:
*Here are a few things you can do to prevent water pipes from freezing and/or bursting:
-Wrap outside pipes to keep from freezing
-Disconnect & drain outdoor hoses
-Turn off sprinkler systems
- Drip inside faucets overnight
-Open cabinet doors under sinks to circulate warm air
-Know where your main water shut off valve is just in case
A little prep now can make a big difference later. We pray that everyone stays safe and warm. If you have a water related emergency, please call (803) 652-2862.
