TIPS TO PREVENT PIPES FROM FREEZING

December 14, 2025

December 14, 2025 - The National Weather Service is predicting extreme cold temperatures beginning Sunday evening through Tuesday, with the potential for prolonged cold temperatures for the rest of the week. Please make sure all outside faucets are properly wrapped/insulated, irrigation systems are turned off, outdoor water hoses are disconnected and drip inside faucets overnight to prevent pipes from freezing. You can also open cabinets and doors to ensure warm air flow around indoor pipes. We hope everyone stays safe and warm during these extreme temperatures. If you have a water related emergency, please call (803) 652-2862.
